What it records

Fielder sequences, batted-ball type and location, error type, every runner's
advance, earned and unearned runs. The full Retrosheet event field, written as
you score:
- MLB and minor leagues
- Browse the season in progress or seasons past — standings, schedules, rosters, from the majors through Triple-A down to Rookie ball. Load a real lineup and score the game, or hand-enter any game at any level.
- Box scores and exports

The notation says what happened

A ground-ball single to center. The runner on second scores — the batter is credited with the RBI — and the runner on first pulls up at third.
